Robert offers, for the beginner or the advanced, summer steelhead,
small mouth bass and shad fishing on a fly. His summer steelhead trips
take place on the famous North Umpqua river during the months of September
through October. These fish range from 4-15 pounds, with an average of
6-7 pounds.
Robert's Shad fishing takes place on the Main Umpqua river May through
June. You can pretty much expect
anywhere from 15-30 fish per rod. These fish range from 2-6 Ibs and fight
like an 8 1b Steelhead.
For the beginner there is no better experience than catching drag pulling,
hard fighting fish on a fly rod.
